Public talks or events

We are passionate about sharing our research and insights into solar eclipses. If you are organizing an in-person or online conference, webinar, or public talk and are seeking speakers with expertise in eclipse science, history, calculations, eclipse chasing and observation please get in touch. Our team members have experience presenting on these topics

Share your observations

To our fellow eclipse observers: if you have recorded, or are planning to record, a timestamped video of the flash spectrum from the edge of the path of totality, please, let us know! Your observation could be very useful and contribute to our ongoing effort to estimate the value of the eclipse solar radius. If you are interested in sharing your observation or in learning more about how they can be used for our research, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Become a beta tester of Eclipse Countdown

Our forthcoming mobile app, Eclipse Countdown, will be available for iOS and Android devices.  This app will be a reliable companion for your eclipse observations and will be powered by our IQP eclipse computational engine, accounting for the lunar and Earth’s topography and relying on an improved eclipse solar radius.
The Eclipse Countdown app is currently in its beta testing phase. We invite you to support our efforts and be the first to test it
